~PRIVATE NIGHT~

I whispered to private night
about the morning we spilled coffee on my bed
My hair was memory blond, and his earring rested on my drawer...
I still remember when I made them shake each other's hands (shaking on his hands)
after a few one-on-ones, with him...her (him)...
She displayed a queen on a party lane,
Noises and music pretend he and I are just insane,
So I made my breath up, exhaling only to make his breath make it up.
She pulls on her make-up
And he marches back and forth, as I would wish him to march back for more,
He didn't. Only he dragged me, and drove free, beside me down into each finger-step staircase
making sure the queen did not steal my suitcase.
We window shopped by my room corridor, I'm beginning to taste his party odor.
Waiting for my close sign, before we enter galore.
When the queen parked from behind,
I pinched his shirt, his elbows kicking the door.
So we sat on my pull-over,
two casual heads hanging in clouds on a stiff weather.
For hours and wee hours, we would chat, vampire birds...
comforting the other's weak verse,
till he leans closer pursing verses into my neck
nicking rhymes through every peck...
I purred with a meow on a quiet cloud,
he digs slower into my caffeine heart wreck
closing in every speck
oh private night that hummed till daylight
I knew then that I could not grow my hair any longer (rebelling eremite)
My hair is only for him,
As he laid his only earring over my drawer
And we hid behind the covers
The stain has taught me to remember
While the rest takes forever.
